A comfortable, versatile method, perfect for our Philocaly genius wefts! Faster maintenance appointments for this luxury service will be on the top of your clients wish lists! 

What Sets the Push Up Method Apart?

The Philocaly push up method stands apart from its counterparts due to its remarkable reduced maintenance schedule. Unlike traditional hair extension methods that require frequent upkeep, the push up method allows clients to enjoy their luscious locks for an extended period, as the initial install and be worn for 3-4 months, and maintenance appointments scheduled only every four to eight weeks. Our starting price recommendations for Push Up installation depend on how many rows you install (your standard install will typically be two rows). 

• Row 1: $150-175
• Row 2: $100-125
• Row 3: $50-75

Who is a Good Candidate for the Push-Up method?  

As a professional it is important to look for a few key factors before recommending this method to your client:  

1) Hair Type  

This method is well suited for fine/medium to thicker density clients. Because the push up method is installed/maintained on the same row, which requires consistent density to keep rows healthy and supported. 

2) Lifestyle  

This method is great for client’s looking for a more affordable and faster option, as the installation and maintenance appointments come in at a slightly lower recommended price with quicker maintenance appointments. 

3) Maintenance  

The push up method requires move ups every 4-6 weeks. These appointments only last 30 minutes - so they are excellent for someone on the go. This method will last in the hair for up to four months before it needs to be reinstalled with fresh rows and beadwork. 

Who may need to avoid the push up method?

• Clients who have very fine and thin density, why you ask? The push up method stays in the hair for 3-4 months before being removed and refreshed with new rows and bead work. Clients with extremely fine hair combined with natural shedding will not support the fullness needed to safely keep these tracks in long term.
• Clients who are experiencing postpartum hair loss - the natural shedding during this time can cause tracks to become weaker, and could also result with unwanted matting
• Clients who do not wish to visit the salon frequently - as mentioned above, move-ups are required every 4-8 weeks versus our other weft methods (beaded row and flip-up) with visits every 8-10 weeks
• Like other methods - clients who struggle with maintaining their extensions as well as proper homecare should not explore this method, as their beadwork and rows will deteriorate much faster
