"Help! My Client's Weft Extensions are Slipping"

“Help! My clients weft extensions are slipping!”
One of the most common problems when you first start installing weft extensions using the beaded row method is the tracks slipping. But don’t fret, there are only a few things that could be causing your tracks to slide.
1. The number one cause is that there is not enough hair inside the beads. Remember, if your client's hair is fine, you will need to do a deeper section to ensure you have enough hair inside the bead - 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch wide, and maybe more like a 1/4 inch deep. If that doesn’t work, you can also try using 2mm beads instead of 3mm.
2. You also may not be clamping your beads shut tightly enough. We highly recommend our premium stainless steel pliers for installation since they will evenly close the bead, preventing gaps. If you are using a different set of pliers, make sure you clamp on the bead's right and left sides so it is nice and snug.
3. Lastly, make sure you are always using silicone-lined beads. They not only prevent slipping, but also protect your client's hair from breakage.
